Thanks guys.

@Disallow - I feel llike I remember reading a post here, someone telling another member to jack up his rear end and turn one wheel. He said that he should see both tires rotating in the same direction.

Is it safe to say that a real LSD is better than the ABLS?

Front and rear differentials

Okay, I did search here but didn't find conclusive info, so I will pose the question.

I know my 2005 R51 SE (non-off road) has a LSD rear, but what about the front? Is that an LSD also?

Now a dumb question......what is the difference between a locker and an LSD on these trucks?

I used to work right off the LIE on William Flloyd a few years back. That wasn't a bad commute from Huntington but it was 32 miles each way. Glad I didn't have my PF back then.

Re: Oil Pressure Gage

The gauge in the 05s showed the real time pressure. If it changed even slightly, the gauge would move. For instance, at idle, the gauge would read on the low side, and if you gunned it with the engine cold, it would go to the high side. This required a 3-wire harness from the oil pressure sender to...

Very true dude. Are you going to get it? I don't care what anybody tells me there is going to be some type of signal degredation between the transmitter and the antenna.

disallow wrote:This is normal. The 2005s have a real gauge, after 2005 they went to a 'dummy' gauge.

Make sure to buy the right one, the 'dummy' gauge for the 06+ won't work, the harness and connector is different.
What does a "dummy" gauge do?

Best passing performance is to drop it to 2nd (usually at 45-50mph) ahead of the pass and you can run that up to around 80mph in a few short seconds. You know I think she did go down 2 gears actually, I guess 1 wouldn't really send the revs up that high. Skinny2 you've got some nice vehicles in you...
