Haha! Resurecting a dead thread.......

Does the hood mounted deflector actually do anything? Does anybody notice a difference?

I think there are 3 or 4 lines running back. Does anyone know which ones (from passenger side to drivers side) are the coolant lines particularily? Also.....is there anything I can do myself in my driveway?

I am having the same situation. When I brought it to Nissan to be repaired, I guess they only want to go the ridiculous body OFF frame way. I told them to forget it and asked if the could just cap them, because I too don't think rear heat is necessary. They wouldn't do it though and told me to go to...

I know it, and when Nissan USA calls to survey me about my experience with this service department I will actually give good reviews.

Disallow is right, the rear lines are a very big job, labor intensive. I've heard that they actually seperate part of the body from the frame.

Soultion: have a repair shop cap the lines and sacrafice the rear HVAC system. When you get rich you can get it fixed or buy a fancy new truck instead.

Nissan comes through (good experience)

Here's how the story goes..... On Good Friday I took my truck to the car wash. They leave the thing running while they detail the interior for about 10-15 mins. Last weekend while I was changing my oil I finally found my coolant leak, it was one of the line to the rear heater core, and I've noticed ...

I have a similar problem. My pedal nearly goes all the way to the floor but it doesn't really lock the rear brake, it still allows the truck to roll slightly. Actually I think it is my fault. One time I started to drive off with the brake on. Immediately I realized and disengaged it and it hasn't be...

Beach driving newbie

Okay, so I am going to get the permit that allows me to drive on the beach. I will get all the items the permit requires you to carry: jack, jack board, shovel, rope or tow straps. It is a 4wd truck, non-auto, running Goodyear Wrangler RS-A's with good tread. I will also bring a small compressor to ...

The things is that just like rats, they can dislocate most bones in their body to fit through very small openings. A normal sized mouse can move through and opening smaller than a quarter (U.S. quarter that is)

I too like that rear hatch deflector. I've long thought that the Pathy would look good with some type of "spoiler."

You see, mine must be broken. I saw the little logo there and twisted it both directions and nothing happened.
