You can get the remote on ebay for $30 or so, and program it yourself. I just went through it last month for my new-to-me '01. Pretty painless.

If you want first gear to be short enough to get 3500lb. moving up an incline without frying the clutch, and you want the gears to be reasonably closely spaced, then fifth is going to be a little on the short side. It's common for 5-speed SUVs with cammy motors.

I have a very nice used brush guard/push bar for a Nissan Pathfinder. This is the factory bar in aluminum with black powder coat. It also has foam rubber over the upright members. It's in good shape and includes all the hardware. It is from a 2001 Pathfinder, but it may also fit the 2000, 2002, 2003...
