I ended up pulling the gibson off and trying walkers "stock replacement" so far its nice and quiet and only cost me $280 for the cat back we will see how well it holds up

Only other thing i can think of it high rpm transmission sudden change that is strange. I would think you would hear more noise out the back with that kind of damage. Good thing you figured it out finally it was about time. Yeah I'm not sure what caused it, I did hear a tick coming from the bell ho...

Thanks for the info. Maybe you've mentioned this but why did you go with the shorties and delete the front cats as opposed to longtubes and keeping the rear cats?

Yes, you definitely want to have a tailpipe resonator or it will sound "raspy." I have doug Thornley long tubes, b pipes and Gibson cat back, the "rasp" was awful so I pulled the b pipes and put the stock rear cats back in which helped the "rasp" it's still there but n...

Yes we checked both vtc solenoids, oil pressure etc, I'm pretty sure the timing isnt off its reading equally advanced across both banks and it varies so I'm thinking it's just the ignition timing and it doesn't run long enough to straighten out and if we pull the inspection covers and rotate it over...
