That may be the difference then LoneWolf. However, you should still have the button under your "t" handle.

I have a 05 SE Off Road that doesn't have the manual mode either. I also have the 4.0 V6. I have the option of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Drive. But, there is a small button under the "t" handle that will take it out of OD and downshift the tranny. I believe this is how you manually put it into 4t...

I generally don't replace my washer after every oil change. The copper washers tend to last a while. I would hesitate to use a Nylon washer. Skinny, do know of an inline coolant warmer/heater that you would recommend? I live in the midwest, and my wife maybe drives 2-3 miles to work. The Pathfinder never gets warmed up and she is averaging about 10 mpg as well. Not to mention, it is very hard on an engine when it is always running cold ...
