Nope it's a direct replacement. No mods necessary. I replaced the stock -Terminal clamp because the OEM one looked like crap.

Greek you can go with the 265/75's I went from the 245's to 265's on my XE (before they went to calling it an S). They fit fine (put 15k on them before putting in the OME) but will hit you on acceleration even more than fuel eco so keep that in mind.
