Thanks for your input guys! @Blink- Wasn't aware it was limited to 2010-12. From the chatter I assumed it could have been the difference between the Spanish and Asian builds (as that seemed to be another factor in that thread.) @SMJ- I had a feeling I needed to reground to that sensor... I believe t...

Charging System

So I'm getting ready to go on vacation and the girl is out of town with her sister; I go out to grab some chow and on the way back I notice my battery and "BRAKE" lights are lit. Meh, no big deal right? I pull over to the side and give her the ole' reboot. Brake light and Batt Lights remai...

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (done) , but I think the radiator failures were only from 05-06. I had Nissan replace mine at 92k (and reimburse me for my entire out of pocket expenses as I initially paid for a new radiator and 2 dealer performed flushes) but it was not an easy or stress...

Just yank out the head unit and run the cable into the drivers side footwell (tons of room, just shine a light in the footwell and look for your spot.) Then pull out the gasket just enough. http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n258/raphfofiddy/image.jpg Then, run the cable behind the knee trim (panel ...

No need to remove any panels. Just run the wire behind the plastic in front of your knees and follow it to the seam where the door gasket/foot plate/dash meet. Pop the gasket off the door jam and tuck the wire behind the A pillar trim piece. It should squeeze right in with no bulging. I've had mine ...

Swap out you door speakers I believe they are only 2 Ohm...
Also you might want to move your microphone somewhere less conspicuous, I found the top of the A pillar to be both out of sight\mind and still reasonably quiet with the windows cracked (using Weathertech rain guards.)

Did both my fronts at ~100k, 4 bolts on the back of the assembly, you will need an impact wrench (32mm pretty sure) and a pry bar + small sledge/hammer to pop the assembly out. I found the smallest punch I had and gave it a tap every inch or so around where the 2 pieces join. I don't know if it was ...

Just mounted my stock wheels with the studded LT2's 2 days ago. I loved my Blizzak DMZ2s, it'll be interesting to see how they compare. I'm still in the 500mile break-in period but I'll update once I have some experience to share. As a twin planker, once the white stuff begins to fall I go north loo...

I've have about 10k on a set of Cooper AT3 in P265/70R17s. So far I'm not incredibly confident with the snow performance but we had a ridiculously light winter and I've grown accustomed to dedicated snows. Still they always got me through the white stuff to the slopes without issue this season. So f...

Winter Shoes, Who Cheats?

A few years back I happened upon a set of closeout 265/75R16 Blizzak DMZ2 for $30 a pop. It was a no brainer and for the past 3 years I've been spoiled silly. Now that my DMZ2s are thoroughly spanked and I've mounted my 3 seasons on dedicated wheels I'm on the hunt for options. Now the Blizzaks were...

One of the guys at work traded his Xterra for the Edge, he is not happy with the fuel economy. It just looks like the Subaru's hood release is popped. Personally we owned an 07 Legacy (minor cosmetic differences) in 5spd, that color for a year. I loved that little car, fun to drive, even soothing (f...

The title of the thread is "Brake Upgrade" not "I changed my Brakes". OEM is fine; Nissan felt that it provided the right blend of cost efficiency and performance to be a play with the other vehicles in its segment. Unfortunately Nutbar78's Post wasn't "do you think I should...

OEM is not an upgrade, and the life risk comment is a little over the top.

If you bled your brakes I'm assuming you have the ODBII/Brake tool?
