Seafoam? where can I buy that? and how do I use it? put it in the oil? Many parts store carries it, do a google search and you'll find it. It can be added to fuel as a stabilizer/cleaner, to the oil to remove varnish deposits, and injected into the intake while enging is running to clean injectors ...

I'll go ahead and try that.. It also did this when I have my 98 Nissan hard body, maybe a flaw in older Nissan trucks? Seafoam is another good additive for your oil, it may help free up a hydraulic lifter that is not pumping up as it should due to varnish deposites, or dirt. It does sound possible ...
