So I had a chance to take a look at this in a warm garage tonight. I was hoping it would be electrical like a relay. Unfortunately I was not that lucky. I crawled underneath to make sure the connections to the T-case looked good. While I was under there I just gave the halfshaft to the front diff a ...

Can't get 4x4 to engage?

I have tried shiftig it in every way park, neutral and even while driving forward and reverse turning the wheels. SOmething is off. If I shift into 4low I get the low gear ratio bu...

I hooked up my OBD reader today to look at all my sensors in real time. The gauge is way off. YOu would never know if you are running hot from it. It stops 1/3 way up when the temp is around 150-160. from 150-208 no difference in gauge movement. what a sham.

Temperature gauge not accurate.

My V8 Path Rad fan is always roaring away regardless of conditions. I decided it was time to make a change. I found a cheap 16" electric kit and decided to give it a shot and if that didnt work I would put a new clutch in. I know the nice electric fan kits work but im not spending 500 on it. Wh...

Auto mode is nice but it doesnt seem like a good idea to have it on if you were on pavement moving at speed. That kind of defeats the purpose for me being able to have more traction on roads that are snowy and icy part of the time. Am I wrong on this? I can feel the difference at 50mph on normal ro...

Im running the bigger size also. Clearance no problem. Braking and acceleration definetely are sacrificed.

Would Armada rear springs fit in a Path?

Im sick of my waterbed rear springs. I have airbags but they are a bandaid for weak springs. I was thinking of cost affective solutions and thought of the Armada. Does anyone know if OEM Armada springs would work?

Very interesting, thanks for the great before and after dyno testing. The longer runners should improve velocity for higher RPM power, but the dyno showed the opposite, odd, not sure what to make of that, but great none the less that there was a measureable improvement. Longer runners would actuall...

The V8 trans has no issues locking up in 4th gear. I agree i with disallow. The extra power of the 8 is nice but probably wont raise your overall tow rating that much. The V6 in the pathfinder is a rare gem for V6's. The wheelbase, breaks, and suspension would still limit you. The gearing is almost ...

I thought mine was bad but yours is unbelievable. That type of rust is a deal breaker.

I worry more and more about mine. Not for the frame but all the other small bolts and parts that can break or seize.

Brakes and Suspension are weak points for sure when towing with this car. Even if you have trailer breaks. The airbag helps a little but nothing considerable. I pulled a larger boat recently (6k-7k) about 20 miles to the marine recently. I was on the bump stops the entire time. Granted the tongue we...

I agree it is touchy and clumsy. My dad was pulling me out of the water on the boat ramp a couple weekends ago. He broke the tires loose. And he knows how to drive.
