I have an 06 S and it's been totally bullet proof (knock on wood) since new. I have a squeaky tensioner but that's it. I get about 15-16 with the wife running to and from school with NO road time whatsoever. 19-21 on the highway/interstate. Really couldn't be happier overall. The engine/tranny combi...

White Rim Trail - Utah

Has anyone done this trail? I'm thinking of pulling the pop up out to the Arches area this spring and set up camp. It's pretty close to this trail which looks AWESOME! I'd like to explore it a bit. It's a 100 mile trail and I don't think I'd do all of it (min of 2 days). I'm running totally stock ex...

Welcome! I only personally tow a pop up with my Pathy. I think it probably ways less than 3k loaded. That said, I would probably try to stay on the lower end of the scale 3500 dry. You'll be adding a lot of weight to your trailer with gear, water, etc. so the "dry weight" is really only a ...

Colorado trip a success...

Returned from Keystone Colorado area yesterday afternoon. Overall a great trip! Put on about 1750 miles over 7 days (732 miles to get there from Des Moines). Did a lot of hikes with the family and did a couple of off road trails. We didn't end up doing any challenging off road trails since we were q...

I feel for ya on the Air Lift deal! Sounds painful and that can really throw a wrench into your vacation. Just curious- how much does your Roo setup weigh in at? With all your gear, you gotta be runnin pretty heavy! Good testament to the Pathy.
Good luck on your trip home!

Off road in Colorado....suggestions?

We're heading out to Colorado next weekend and I'm looking for some decent trails to hit. We'll be in the summit county area (staying in Keystone) and would like to hit something reletively close. It'll probably be us (DW and two DB's) in the Pathy and then my BIL in his 07 Xterra. I don't want anyt...

Looks like a great trip!! The pics you have taken are absolutely stunning.
We're heading out to Summit County Colorado area in July and I hope to do a few trails as well. I'm a bit nervous about it since we'll be 700 miles from home but you've inspired me! Good luck with what's left.

I understand if you don't want to tell, but how much did the local shop charge for install? Did they buy the OME setup or did you buy it and only have them do the install? It looks great with the extra 2"!!

I have no doubt that the V8 model would be much better for your load. However, if your going to try to justify the upgrade with fuel costs and handling advantages, then you're on the wrong track. Suspension for the V8 virtually the same as the V6. Gas mileage may improve a little since the V8 would ...

I like the 07 Tundra as well. If I ever end up getting a Travel Trailer I'll look at that, the Titan and the Armada.

2008 Pathy with V8

I was cruising Autoblog.com and founds some pics and information on the 08 Pathy. Looks like the 5.6L V8 will be available and a 6 speed transmission. I'm very happy with the 4.0 but I'm sure some people will take the V8. Not sure how this will effect the towing ratings. http://www.autoblog.com/2007...

Not sure

Not sure about mirror ideas. I'm probably going to need some too though. I'd love to get some feed back on what you find. What are you pulling exactly?
