hi i was wondering if anyone could help by confirming whether the front corner lamp lenses are the same on the navara d21 pick up, and the wd21 pathfinder wagon?

try running some injector cleaner through it and maybe seafoam for cleaning out the carbon build up, or it could be your maf but that would throw a code (12)

just a update seemed to have fixed the idle and richness problem, bad earth on the maf, but when i take off it jutters a bit so i just have to work out what that is and then ill be set

yeh prob the pump, does it make any noise when you pull the stick? if not it would be the pump and that to my knowledge just pulls out of the washer bottle pretty simple to replace, while your there you could change the rear pump if its playing up

hey mate the icv is on the drivers side back of the bay its like a tower thing with a plug on top cant miss it, as for the adjustment there is a little flat head screw just below it towards the rear of the car

hi can anyone tell me about MAF sensor wiring on a 92 pathfinder, i know about the black/white = 12v white = 5v sensor \ black = ground / wraped together but what is the bare wire for and does it connect into anything? and is there any way to test to see if im getting the right signals and volts ect...

thanks for the replies guys, glad there is someone reading :) problem still not solved but i did find half of a broken bottle brush in some of the vacum lines which wouldn't help matters... i have checked the vac lines for cracks ect also sprayed them with carby cleaner for changes in idle no good :...

ok i got her running the plugs were black, but idle is really bad and running really rich. the idle levels out when you unplug the maf sensor then goes back to crap when i re connect it.

am i going to need to get another maf sensor? or is there something else i should check.

hi there, i am currently in the process of purchasing a 93 pathfinder which is running abit rough and the owner seems to think it is only the Mass Air Flow sensor which is the problem (apparently thats the only code that shows up on the diagnostics) so i would like to buy or even borrow to test this...
