I presume your master key fob works ok? Working on this presumption I would try opening both fobs and checking the insides are the same. It's possible your spare fob does not have a transponder chip fitted. I've got a feeling my spare does this also, after all it is a spare key! If the fobs are the ...

Just a thought, but try having a separate thermometer in the car next time you're out and about. The auto A/C will try to keep the interior temp at whatever you've set it too, and maybe the interior temp has reached the desired figure thus making the A/C blow hot and cold in order to maintain that t...

Thanks Disallow, conditioner was added when the fuel filter was changed. I've also got some STP injector cleaner for next tank fill.

Will report how that goes, however today she's behaved perfectly and we had snow overnight too!

I just want to bump this up again as I'm STILL having issues cold starting (not even cold in fact, I'm talking anywhere between -5'C to 10'C). So far I've replaced the glow plugs - no difference New battery, Varta Silver Dynamic E44, 77Ah, 780 Cold Cranking amps Fuel Filter - as when it did eventual...

My headrests tilt back and forth. Perhaps this is a UK model thing and worth looking into further?

I'm starting to think we have 'car twins'! My CC started playing up about 2 years ago, now I hardly use it cos it just winds me up. Most of the time it won't let me set a speed. If it does set a speed it will cut out after 1 or 2 seconds like i've hit the brakes. On rare occasions it stays on and le...

Hi, do you have an update yet for this problem as I have EXACTLY the same issue. As the weather started to get colder my Pathy took longer and longer to start (currently takes 10-20 cranks to get started). It had a new battery 10 months ago and new glow plugs last month. I don't have the equipment t...

Do you have power folding mirrors? Wish we had those in the states. Yes I do! So...I guess my trans-atlantic brothers won't be much help then :P Folding mirrors are quite useful here in the UK. Our parking lot spaces are ridiculously narrow, as are our side streets and country tracks! Thanks for ta...

Motorised folding mirror problem

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows how to crack open a wing mirror without damaging the fcuker? My passenger side mirror stopped folding but the glass can still be adjusted remotely, so I'm thinking wiring must be ok but perhaps the folding motor is stuck or crapped. Any advice appreciated, than...

All fixed at last! I've bypassed the rear heat exchange unit by using the shorter of the two rubber hoses ( a U shape piece about 6-7 inches long) that run into the exchange unit behind the rear right wheel and fitting it to where I cut the coolant tubes just in front of the mid section exhuast sile...

Update

Good news and bad news. I cut the pipes and fitted 6 inch long pieces of hydraulic grade hose without too much fuss...then noticed a second leak further up the chassis at the next rubber grommit/clip thing. What makes this one really annoying is that you can't get to the damn thing. Next step now is...

Hi, just wondering if you ever got the sunroof fixed? Mine does the same thing, although tends to behave after a dozen pushes of the switch!
