System could be overcharging as you accellerate and the engine revs increase. If you stop and cycle the key, the cluster runs a bulb check. Start the car and the charging voltage may be fine but as you accellerate, the overcharge causes the lights to come back on. This is one possible scenario...bot...

I doubt that many service writers read technical service bulletins; their job is to listen to the customer concerns, write up the repair order and assign it to a tech who, in turn, diagnosis the concern and tells the writer who works up a quote and talks to the customer. It isn't always exactly like...

There are a couple of TSB's for creaking and/or popping noises in early R51's. One has the front diff hitting agains the crossmember and instructs to adjust it so it won't contact it. The other TSB instructs to replace the front sway bar mount bushings with updated parts.

I don't think the 2013 Pathy is going to be ill-received; it's actually a very nice vehicle (my opinion based on the Infiniti "sister" I checked out at the auto show a few months back). It's not what "we" want here on the forums...those of us who like the fact that the Pathfinder...

Sounds like you have a charging system issue, possibly a bad alternator. You'll need to have it checked to be sure. Due to the nature of your problem, make sure it's checked not only at idle, but also at increased RPM, as well. I used to have a cheap voltmeter that plugged into the power socket (or ...

Biggest thing to look for is rusted out front strut towers. There's currently a campaign on them. Another common issue is bad rear suspension link bushings; when they go bad, the vehicle sways all over the place while driving. The vehicle has a 105000 miles timing belt, so find out when the last tim...

The green dye they put in at the factory is just that....green dye. There is no stop leak. Now, if you had an accident that involved the AC, it's possible that the repair facilty used stop leak. If that's what's causing the problem, I would have the system flushed out AND replace the expansion valves.

Since they are only coolant lines, why not just cut the area and use a piece of heater hose and clamps to fix it, rather than "cap off" the lines? As far as rear a/c I can see the appeal in fixing the leak. But as far as rear heat goes....ehhh, the rear passengers can freeze! Yeah, but if...

So, say I'm driving down a buzy highway and all of the sudden the trans starts slipping in an area where I can't get off to the side of the road and I'm stuck in the middle of the highway where I could get rearended or cause traffic behind me to get into an accident as I'm blocking the road.... That...

Nissan refers to it as a "stay-front suspension member." It's part number is 54465-0W00 and Nissan MSRP is $13.62. If you need new bolts, there are four of them, P/N: 08157-0251F. There's usually an engine cover that goes over it. The cover attaches with 6x1.0MM bolts and is part code &quo...

Go to Crutchfield.com and use their vehicle specific lookup. Even if you don't buy from them, it'll show you what fits in each location, lets you compare componants, read customer reviews, and will tell you if any adapter brackets are required.
