That pretty much covers it, it sounds like my big V6 is a 4-banger... I drove it after posting, and from the driver's seat, it's a little better but not much. At WOT, the sound of the engine (mostly from the CAI) still overpowers the exhaust. Under mild acceleration (2k-3k) is when it's loudest, but...
