rust

All vechiles get rust it just depends on how well u clean them afterwards especially after sand/salt trips. we put a electronic rust inhibitor on car and no signs yet. easy way to clean underneath is to park on top of your sprinkler and turn it on.

which path

my wife bought the r50. it suits our purpose of towing the camper trailer around off road. we have done the old telegraph track with no probs. its quick on fraser isl. no probs mech. just replaced the tyres with BFG's as dealer ones were sliding everywhere. enjoy

what gear

thats generally right what was mentioned above. also check tyre pressures. for steep rocky uphill try lowering to 24-26psi. sand down to 8psi. i carry a manual winch and a snatch strap if i get stuck and a small air compressor for when i hit the sealed roads. i try to stay away from mud if at all po...

to change or not to change diff oils

difinitly change the oils for your own peice of mind. when you go thru water it gets sucked in thru the breather hole and starts to do damage. dont forget to use a grease gun on the drive train

2nd Battery

the wifes car is an 04 model. so far i have put a steel bull bar on the front with spot lights. I am trying to figure out the best place to put a 2nd battery to run a fridge and eventually a winch. There seems to b bugger all space in the engine bay even if I turn the existing battery 90degrees I do...
