I use 105 octane, because I can and because the engine/ECU compensates for it. You are wrong about all cars being made to run on regular. They will run but you risk engine damage on some engines. Certain Jaguars and turbocharged Volvos immediately come to mind. Higher octane fuel, on engines develop...
