Re: Passenger Airbag Warning Light on or off?

if you click in the passenger seat belt with no one sitting, I would imagine the light activates to disable the air bag for passenger side thinking there is a light weight occupant there / heavy weight occupant missing. Sorry to edit. My light is always off when no one is sitting in the seat, and t...

Re: Passenger Airbag Warning Light on or off?

Those were my findings as well. It just doesn't make sense as I am positive that light was always on until someone sat down/heavy load was detected. It being off stood out to me immediately. And I know the other model/yr owners hate the fact that their recall turned the light on but it makes sense t...

Passenger Airbag Warning Light on or off?

Shouldn't the "Passenger Airbag is OFF" light be illuminated when the pax seat is EMPTY/no weight detected? 2006 R51 with the large circular pax Airbag warning light on the left of the HVAC controls under the Hazard Lights button. The bulb is working as it illuminates during vehicle startu...

Re: Car Camping

I have done this for a few months in the past. For long term like that removing the middle row and replace with a custom platform would be best for storage. For just a few weeks, take out all three of the middle row seat bottoms only. 2 screws each at the pivot points. If you leave them in, when you...

Can the idle rpm’s be increased?
The idle Rpm can be bumped up using 3rd party tools like UpRev, higher end scan tools like Autel or a Nissan Consult. But if you’re changing the rpm to make a noise go away sounds you’re just going to mask your real issues.

Re: Rear A/C lines

The official solution is to lift the body off to get to those lines. Loosen the body mounts and such and you could probably squeeze it.

You couldn’t just cap the lines themselves. It’s a closed circuit so it’d have to be looped back I would imagine. Check out the service manual for ideas.

Re: Catalytic Converter replacements & JBA Header Install

-you are confident the engine has had no damage from the disintegrating cat? Good call out on this by the way. And surprisingly a positive outcome with RockAuto. I was expecting to end up stuck and being forced to do a charge back on the credit card which was not a desired because I do like them as...

Re: Catalytic Converter replacements & JBA Header Install

-you are confident the engine has had no damage from the disintegrating cat? A girl can dream right? :) I wasn't doing any hard driving (towing, hills etc) when it happened and I took it straight off the road. Def agree and anything is possible but for right now everything *seems* ok and I will con...

Catalytic Converter replacements & JBA Header Install

I had several P codes for emissions over the past year+ and back in September the Right front (pax side) cat finally gave out. It broke up while driving and created enough back pressure to blow out a gasket. Limped it home and that has been all she wrote since then. I had a set of JBA shorty headers...

Re: intermediate exhaust pipe

Late reply but it sounds like you're referring to the B or Mid Pipes. They go between the primary catalytic converters and the Y pipe and have a downstream catalytic converter as well as O2 sensor in them. You can buy a matched set for off-road use from Doug Thorley, OEM replacments, have a muffler ...

Good Kitty, Bad Kitty

Pretty sure I found why I was popping OBD Cat Codes. I haven't gotten there just yet but I'm also confident that the back pressure caused from this has either cracked the Pax Manifold, blown out the manifold gasket or blown out the gasket between the manifold and upstream cat. I have a set of JBA sh...

Ahh yes paracord, almost as versatile as duct tape. I have used it in many situation to mount media devices in austere locations.

I guess you could bitch about every last detail not being consolidated in one post of this thread but then what fun would reading be? SMJ handled it for you. Funny this thread got revived as I was just going to revive another thread. Back in late 2014 (8 years on OEM parts) I replaced all 4 lift sup...

Re: Help : 06 Pathfinder stuck in Drive

Looks like this is the part to fix this issue. https://www.bushingfix.com/ni1kit/

Bushing at the end of the shifter cable must have worn out and fallen apart which let it fall off. For now I’ve got a screwdriver stuck through the hole with a little duct tape holding it all in place.
