I run my airbags at 25psi all the time. When I tow I run them up to 35psi regardless of load size.
Is that the pressure before or after you connect the trailer?

Not sure on pressure yet but yes, something like that. I'll have 3-4 tows before I head to Atlanta so I have some time to test and figure that out. I can balance the car pretty well, in fact the first time I loaded it the tongue was lighter as I had the car too far back. Since I won't be camping in ...

Ran them up through the top opening of the spring then feed both toward the center near the transfer box. Put the T there then ran another line around the driver's side (away from the exhaust) and zip tied it to the trailer connector harness. Made sure everything had plenty of play while also not sa...

Planning to tow 3000 miles round trip, how crazy am I?

Subject says it all - here's the deal. I'll be towing from Denver to Atlanta at the end of next month. Have a 2008 Pathfinder V8 and a 20 ft enclosed trailer. Whole rig is about 6k lbs, Pathfinder is rated at 7700. I've towed it once in town and power we ok (not great, not bad) but the suspension sa...

Airlift 1000 installed - wow, that was easy

Start to finish under 30 minutes. Didn't even bother taking the wheels off, just raised it a bit with my jack (threw a stand under it just in case) and was able to stuff the bags in the springs without too much trouble. Ran all the hoses, drilled a hole in my 7 pin trailer connector bracket and blam...

That and the headlights are already done - somewhat lightly. I don't want to affect light out put that much, just want to take a little edge off.

Project Murder

My 2008 LE is the 5th black car I've owned - and as I'm a big fan of darkening everything I can I decided a few weeks ago it was time to murder out my Pathfinder. So far I've done the following: - Vinyl wrapped all fake woodgrain interior trim (god that stuff is awful) - Vinyl wrapped the chrome on ...

I have to imagine that converting a 5 seater to 7 would be far more costly than just trading yours in on another. I'd guess no one has attempted this.

You mean amperage too high with additional lights? Could try changing the map lights out for LED's to reduce their current draw. They typically draw a lot less than the standard bulbs and would match your foot well lights better... Hi, Yes I did change the map lights to LED's but, when I conect the...

Going to do this mod myself this weekend - question, do you have to install the bypass switch or can you just leave it bypassed? Someone mentioned the GPS doesn't seem to work as well with the bypass engaged (which makes little sense to me). If I just want to bypass all the time can I?

Sorry about the pictures guys - let's see if this works better, can you guys see them now? I hear ya on the tint - I'm going to give it a go and see how good it is. I'm used to low light output as my RS4 is tinted and the Lotus headlights are essentially candles. So far it's plenty bright - if after...

Just joined the club

Hello everyone, I'm happy to say that this past weekend I picked up a 2008 Pathfinder LE V8 (Black/tan) with 65k on the clock. One owner, in remarkably good condition. The only Black, LE, V8, Tan I could find in the country at the moment. State Line Nissan in KC made it really easy on me, I flew in ...

I plan on it. I have several projects lined up so far, they are: - 7 pin trailer connector and trailer brake controller - WeatherTech floor/cargo mats - 110v inverter (not sure where just yet but want OEM look) - Add at least 4 1amp USB chargers (iPads, iPhones, etc) - 25" ceiling mounted LCD f...
