Ahh yes, you should never ever have any traction at all on a tire that is supposed to provide forward momentum or control direction. Again, you're posting more nonsense. I personally hope no-one reads anything you post and takes it for legitamite information. Let me run out make sure the wor...

Haven't got the used oil analysis back from using upgraded Donaldson nanofiber filters and 0W40 Mobil 1 oil yet but the dipstick still looks fairly clear after 5K kms.

Thanks Mike, yes I`m looking to armor some of the wiring on the PF but probably not all. Mainly this truck is used for long distance commutes to remote work sites. Think driving 500 - 1000 miles in severe weather and then another few hours of offroad trails. A transmission electrical wire getting h...

Hope your photo doesn't get anyone thinking that forward wheels are the correct mounting for driving chains. Ahh yes, you should never ever have any traction at all on a tire that is supposed to provide forward momentum or control direction. Again, you're posting more nonsense. You probably didn't even do any research on this product or the RUD product did you? It doesn't surprise me one bit that you didn't. It's ok, your lack of knowledge is still funny to me. Lol, no I didn't do a lot more 'research' on these Blink after I saw in the installation video that the k...

I could go for that, the ideal though would be if it was covered so that when the remote control is accidentally touched it doesn't set off the horn alarm. :)

Replacing coolant hose clamps

Just wondering how many have started replacing all of those radiator and coolant hose dummy clips on the VQ40 engine with something more dependable.

Another project... :)

One true thing about chains is that the more you use them the more they stretch and eventualy become irreparable and unuseable. Those look like they'd get you up some ice hills a few times but I wouldn't depend on them to do a couple of hundred miles. Keeping chains tight on the tire and speeds to a...

Factory axle grease

As the PF NLGI No.2 factory axle bearing grease is likely petroleum based with a low end working temperature of -20C to -30C and good enough for everywhere in the US other than Alaska I got looking at what axle grease might be a better choice for -40C to -50C northern temperatures. There are a few l...

... you still havent answered the question... why do you want to upgrade every wire in your truck? do you think that the wiring will not be sufficient for cold weather? do you think that some off-roading is going to make the harnesses fail? ~mike Thanks Mike, yes I`m looking to armor some of the wi...

Quite right Mike, I don't suppose many here would have need to upgrade any of their 4x4 truck's wiring...

Looks like the truck is sitting kind of low in the rear. I'm still surprised that some states are requiring front plates.
