it's been put on hold. I have become very concerned about the added width. Was just out wheeling tonight and scratched my truck up real good on some tight trails, don't know if it would of made it with the aramada swap. At this point I will be swapping just the diffs for better gearing when I run 3...

There are a bunch of guys on thenewx.org who run the XTP Intake manifold spacer. There is proof behind the XTP IMS- Peak gains of 8hp @ 5600rpm and torque of 23ft/lbs. @ 4400rpm, with considerable gains between 3600-4800 rpm of 23hp increase & torque 33ft/lbs. I would stay as far away from a thr...

Great write up! I just did my plugs in my Xterra. I do have some recommendations to anyone who is planning on changing plugs: 1) If your using Seafoam to do it before the plugs I have seen people foul out plugs using it and it would be horrible to foul brand new plugs if you were going to change the...

Have you ever heard of or used Seafoam? This will clean your lifters, upper cylinders and injectors. I did it and got much better fuel mileage (20 avg up from 16 avg). I also use Lucas Oil Upper cylinder lubricant which increases fuel mileage by 2-3 mpg. It costs $10 for a 32 oz bottle and I use 3-4...

I have a super chips cortex tuner which may be a better route than "chipping" your Pathfinder. I have heard great things about Bully Dog as well. I have an 87 Octane tune in now and use the Towing performance tune when pulling. This is for a Xterra but I would believe that it can/ should w...

Haha! I would but I've done a lot of work to my Xterra and wouldn't want to do it all over to a pathy. I'll put up a small build thread so people can see some of the stuff. But the main reason I joined here, was to find someone who has done an Armada swap because I want IFS/ IRS.

I have an 08 Xterra SE which has the same rear axle as the frontier. If you want it I want the IRS from a pathfinder.

New Xterra Owner in Maine

Hey guys, I have been over on thenewx.org for just over a year now and have wanted to start a project that involves independent rear suspension. I figured, since pathy owners already have the IRS, that you guys know the ins and outs of modifying it. A little more about me, I am a Firefighter/ EMT-I ...
