That thing... Yeah, those are a pain because they integrate so much stuff that you cant remove... I have seen some dash kits that reorganize stuff but I don't know how much help it would be... nor do I know if that's the route you want to take. most people just add on what there missing by plugging ...

honestly haven't even tried. Im keeping an updated topic on my dealings with this issue here: http://thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=9233 But the current bottom line is I am seeking legal representation and advice. So far the legal consultations have told me to have the Stealership do the repair a...

Glad to hear you didn't have the notorious issue. I do recommend proceeding with a bypass to avoid the potential. we are all ticking time bombs here. Sadly, there is no mistaking what has happened to mine. I am definitely mixed! Good luck in your findings.

If you did get all the bells and whistles you should have the adjustable pedals as well, my button is on the lower left side of the wheel. Might check to see if you can move those forward for some more room. Otherwise I think your SOL

I haven't actually seen any true carbon fiber, but this guy here made some pretty sweet looking pieces by covering his normal setup with 3m CF tape.

Looking at his setup I'm thinking I'm gonna do just that

I LOVE THE CF TAPE! Looks insanely good, looks like you spend a good amount of time on that. I really like your cup holder though, I just realized that the 2005 and 2008 cup holder trims are different, mine is just a trim around the top, while yours covers all but the actual cup holder. I might try ...

While im not the original poster I will load some pictures of my system when I get the car back from the shop, mine is a Pioneer AVH-P8400BH. Sounds better than the bose system. Im still using the factory speakers and such but it sounds and looks great. I have a folder of images I need to actually p...

I use a Pioneer AVH-P8400BH, although this is a "last year model" by now it works great. Might be able to get it for a smaller cost too... I have another friend looking at adding in the Pioneer app-radio 2... Might be worth considering...

Just as a heads up to all, I have turned my thread into an ongoing story as I have had some questions myself about the issue that I have had to compile from different sources. So rather than making others proceed the same way as me I am providing a way for you to hear and hopefully see pictures as t...

I hesitate to post this, as it might feel like I'm rubbing salt in the wound... That is not my intent. Any reason you hadn't done the bypass? Realistically there isn't a good reason, I worried about causing transmission damage not using the cooler (which was a stupid reason). But I think mainly it ...

Just a matter of verifying my practically known transmission, anyone been in my same boat have an Idea of average cost. Just missed out on the Class Action too. I'm still gonna contact Nissan exec's and go to war!

My Transmission story - Updated 07/10/13

I figured that since I was stupid enough to not perform the bypass and have found myself in a predicament that none of us want to be in (but more of us than we care to admit are) That I will be giving the rest of my friends here the scoop on what happened and what i'm doing to resolve the issues I a...

I self installed a AVH-p8400bh, not quite a nav system but it has video and the like, steering wheel controls and backup cam installed as well. looks great. my only worry with a nav system is if you have a second box that needs to be behind the box you might have some trouble. unless its got some wi...
