So the tape didn't fix it. Nor did lubing the 3 bump stops on the hood. I feel like it may be improperly seated strut spring. WOuld make sense as the front elevates to compensate for load in the back the spring would decompress .

I had the tape on the striker. It looked worn out so ill re-apply. But not really optimistic

I squirted some white lithium grease on the hood rubber bumpers, and the sway bar bushing, now help.

Potholes will produce a chirp. While leaving the gas station today it made a metal screech with a kind of binding sound.

my sv does the same thing, actually had the dealer look at it while it was still under warranty all is fine.

My concern is the electric fan that starts screaming when the ac is on. IS that normal?

Thanks for everything guys. Pathfinder towed the trailer with ease. Had to watch my speed at times, something that was near impossible with my 03 xterra. Now to put in the air bags that just arrived sitting in the box at home.

Dealer found nothing. They said it is all charging and reporting back normal. They also said it was indeed a 7 year battery. We shall see about this one. Going to try and recreate the issue tomorrow. I figure headlights on for 5-10 minutes considering my wife was in the truck for 30

About to tow our 3600 lb pop up trailer. My old truck I towed with OD off. My 2012 doesn't have an overdrive just D then manual ish shifting. Do I just tow in D?

I tried the book but that told me nothing about towing specific to the pathy

Purchased this truck certified in April. Yesterday my wife had it and after letting it sit an hour it wouldn't start. All the lights were flashing including head and taillights. It jumped with my xterra and has been fine today.
Is this a battery gone bad?
