Well, they wouldn't move and I had places to be. :)

Update: I just replaced the rear hatch bumpers and the creaking is gone. Part number is 90878-EA510 and there are four. Cheap part and easy replacement. The hatches with the cinch motors (2008 & 2009) are insanely heavy. I guess a few years of slamming by people who don't know better will turn t...

Thanks! I bought Bilstein HDs for the front and back and I have the Airlift 1000 in there now (love them). Any bushings or mounts I should swap? When I did the struts in my Jetta, it was recommended to also do the strut mounts, which were a pretty integral part of the system. I've never done a truck...

Replacing struts and...

I'm getting ready to replace my struts front and rear. Anything else I should replace while I'm in there? Strut mounts/bushings, for example?

I would do a good burp of the system before you tear it apart. My level was showing full before a burp, too.

You can also throw some driving lights on the front. When aimed correctly, they make a world of difference.

Not sure about Canada but in the US, Tungsten/HID spot lights and fog lamps are a legal addition to low beams; LEDs and flood/long throw lamps are okay when wired to your high beams.

Oops, just noticed you have a Tekna. The advice I gave was for my Pathfinder. Not sure how that compares to a Tekna.

Congrats! I wish we had the diesel here in the U.S. I'm jealous! I have a set of Thule ProRide 591 attached to the factory rails. Best bike rack ever IMO. They do attach, though the factory rails have a slight curve (higher in the center than the sides) where the Thule rails are flat across. Your bi...

I have the Firestone Destination AT2s and don't recommend them. They cupped pretty early on despite balance, rotation, and alignment every single oil change. Could be worn shocks, though both dealership and Firestone swear they're fine. They're also pretty slippy in the rain. I did love how quiet an...

Yeah, my truck has been the poster child for "common Pathfinder problems." Aside from timing chain and transmission problems, luckily. I don't get upset anymore, though, because, after all, it's a Nissan, not a Mercedes. Plus, I bought it knowing the reliability reviews weren't exactly glo...

I still say someone used your rig as a desert racer. Or you just have terrible luck with vehicles. Ha! The truck was a dealership loaner in its former life, so probably about right. Though I complain about it a lot, it has't been terrible. You know how some people can drive around with a ch...

I find the width ideal for both appearance and function. I load mine up pretty good when we go out of town. It also has a clean look and follows the lines of the truck nicely. Anything wider would look weird, I think. Sort of like you're borrowing your Hummer-driving neighbor's rack because you didn...

The top console is definitely not from a US '08 LE. It even has the old buttons. Part of the '08 Pathfinder design refresh was a console change (lower picture). The only model that did not get a new console was the S models, which retained the non-wood version of your top picture. I have an '08 LE a...
