Hey one more question.

After I install these do i erase the codes by leaving the battery unhooked for a while (which obviously I will during this procedure.)

Just curious...

And by the way how is good ole Prescott? I remember mentioning to you before that I went to college there (Embry-Riddle.)

Good times were had there on whiskey row and up in the mountains for sure!

Hey, need help finding a fuel sending unit

Years ago (and i've spent an hour searching my old posts) someone linked me to the part number for purchasing the fuel tank sending unit instead of the whole pump assembly which is like $400. I have that issue where the fuel gauge reads zero for almost half the tank then finally starts to rise slowl...

Thanks guys, I just ordered the rancho quick strut fronts and Rears from rock auto actually got a $120 rebate so after rebate paid like 377 pretty good deal. Order the medium springs and airbags I'll install bags when I get the alignment done. Nice choices, you will be happy. What kinda tires you g...

Here is what I recommend: Medium duty spring for the rear from 4x4 parts. $165.00 and will give you 2" of lift (they advertise a .5" lift but many of us have gotten them and it's a solid 2" without a doubt. I can't speak for the heavy duty option they have which promise 2.5" I th...

Had them for about a year, I recommend them. Ride was much improved after installing and expect about 3/4 inches of lift as well. I went ahead and got bigger tires and the Rancho quick lift struts a few weeks ago, ride is even better so think about it... You can lift the rear like I did with just th...

I recommend the Monroe quick strut for the front for sure. I did them about a year ago and am not disappointed. Get an alignment as well afterwards and expect about 3/4 inch lift in the front as well. They ride much better than stock and are the easiest of all the suspension parts on our trucks to c...

Hey, maybe I'm just blind but I do not see this electric heat pump. I don't have rear a/c, maybe that pump is only for those models?

Will post a pic later. All my hoses lead strait into the heater core, strait through the firewall. Nothing between them and the radiator.

Thanks guys, fluid levels all around are full even in the expansion tank. No leaks at all. No fluctuations in the gauge when driving, it's all normal. But like I said, once I give it just a little gas (say anything above 1200rpm) it starts blowing hot again. All the systems associated with the vents...

Still no luck with this at all. Coolant level is fine. Checked it both warm/cold and even parked on a steep hill to see if there was any differences but didn't notice anything. I'm guessing it's that electric pump mentioned which looks like it's a tear down from inside the truck. I hate jacking with...

Ok, I will check my coolant level today. How hard is that pump to get to if it comes down to that?

No heat while sitting idle, any suggestions?

Since its cooled down some and I've started needing some heat I've noticed it COMPLETELY goes cool if I come to a stop. Almost instantly, stone cold.

Could this be a thermostat issue, I appreciate any suggestions.

08 V6 by the way.

^Guy above me, I thought about doing this as well with the pieces of metal. That was Option #2 if the washers didn't work out. My other thought was to actually break down the Monroe strut and remove the 3 studs and replace them with longer ones in order to give me more exposed thread once reinstalle...
