In that last pic the nut had actually come loose. You can see less threads and they used a different nut. Doesn't have that little lock/indentation mark on it. The bottom pic is the driver side. the other two are passenger side. The third pic you can see where the big washer has been rubbing on that...

Something is wrong here....

Ok. Went with the Bilsteins. Had my local guy I use for all my auto repair install them. I just didn't have the time. But I have the ability and tools. A few days later, after install, one of the shock rubber bushings tore at the top. So I had them both replaced by the same repair shop. Something is...

Sorry to be negative about the Bilsteins! :( I've had good results with them on other vehicles too. A heaver rate spring could stop the bobbing a little if you want to keep the Bilsteins for now. But it will get worse as they break in. (At least that's what happened to me) Another option besides th...

Well. I m not really into buying more stuff at the moment.

I will give them more time. I really like them everywhere else. Yes they bounce a little too.

If this is how they are I will live with it awhile.

Bilstien preformance question....

I recently put Bilstiens all around on my 2005 Pathfinder. Still had stock shocks on after 120,000+ miles! Also put air bladder in rear. Wow what a difference! Like a whole new car. Corners soooo much better! They feel and work great with one exception though. They front really seems to drop hard ov...

That took about ten minutes or less. A little tough getting the plugs out with fat fingers, so needle nosed pliers helped. Just test drove it and so far so good! This site is awesome! Thank you! I bought this Pathfinder new at the end of 2005. It has almost 116,000 miles on it now. Hoping to get ano...

another IPDM replacement

Well headed out to replace it after the car just quit on the wife while driving. Scared her but she did not panic and safely pulled off the road. Nissan dealership seemed to never have heard of the issue. I was in a jam so had to get it from them. Amazingly they had it in stock! Wonder why? $460! ht...

Custom home made guards?

Anyone got pics of home made bumpers and rock guards? I have a mig welder and am a half assed good welder or like to think so! Some of the prices for this stuff just kills me and I refuse to pay it. I am certain I can come up with something pretty good for a couple hundred in materials. Any pics out...

I think many people get confused (I did) and think the bypass takes out the transmission cooler. It does not. The radiator has a built-in transmission heater..(not a cooler). This helps get the Trans temp up when first started. This built-in heater is what leaks. You are bypassing this heater. The ...

What do you think of adding this:

This would act as the connection between the two hoses.

Also I need clarification on adding a trans cooler.

Am I adding a fan to the existing exterior trans cooler?

Or am I adding an extra cooler with no fan?

Or am I adding both?
