Performance tune/ reprogram?

Can you get Pfinders tuned/ reprogrammed for better performance or economy?
You know, like dyno tunes, or handheld comp reprograms?

Sorry to hear about your headlamp wiring melting problem. They shouldnt even offer those blue/ HID/ higher wattage bulbs. The headlamp harnesses melting is common... It is not just a Nissan thing. I have seen it ALOT on VW's when people put in the aftermarket, higher intensity bulbs.

Consumer Reports test vehicle was a 4X4. I didnt notice that first time I looked. I have a 2WD. That explains the differnce in gas mileage.

My mistake. Sorry.

I saw the Consumer Reports issue today with the write up about the Pfinder. I agree that the list of "lows" is questionable. Stiff ride? I hope so! I dont want an SUV that handles like grandmas ol' land yacht station wagon. I personally think the turning radius is fine. Especially compared...

The latch was $15. However, they could only sell me the whole lid assembly at $145.... How do you know its $15, if it isnt available? So you can't buy just the latch? I tried to buy just the latch too. The parts guy at the local dealership showed me the parts diagram and the latch was not available...

I found with purely my 2-into-1 Spintech and nothing else it was simply too loud, so I also added the tail resonator back on and now it's perfect.
Carl,
When did you change your exhaust sytem? Did I miss that? Last I read was that you had the Gibson cat back sytem and were disappointed with it.

bbermann, Thanks for the info on your own Magnaflow install. Please keep us updated on the sound issues. Post some pics if you can. Even though you said its about the same as mtb's, I would like to see it. I was also impressed with mtb's exhaust system and am seriously concidering doing about the sa...

Hey greybrick, Just curious. Are you having frame flex issues of some sort? I have noticed twice, in two different topics, that you have mentioned something about frame stiffening... do you feel that it stiffens the frame to some extent. did you notice much frame twisting and if so have you looked a...

I was thinking just the opposite. Guess I'm "old school." I am old school too. I didnt think of the White Element wheels as being new school though. I think of the 20, 22, and 24" diamater wheels as new school. Like these... http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c3/ScotF/ga_ga5_mffb_ci3_...

With the Titans, a few people added a Stillen suercharger to the mix, that helped.
Thats what Carl, the NissanPath site administrator, did to his Pfinder.
