Let me just start by saying that I am disappointed. :( The cold air kit doesnt seem to make the difference that I hoped to. I know that there are all kinds of variable conditions at play when runnin' down the drag strip. The stuff that I DO know, was in my favor though. At least the temps and humidi...

Fortunately when I bought my Pfinder, the dealer showed me both glove boxes.
On the other hand, I didnt find the 3rd dome light (the one by the rear hatch) 'til I had it about a month. :?

RxZ, Thanks for the interest. I wasnt going to let the topic get lost. Just waiting for tomorrow night. Didnt want to get my hopes up, or anyone elses, if it got rained out again. Weather report looks great so far! No rain in the forecast. Hi temp about 69F, low 38. It will be about 58 deg wh...

I run premium most of the time. My rule when I bought my Pfinder, was that as long as premium stayed below $3.00 a gallon, I would buy it. It has been over $3.00 for quite a while but I still buy it most of the time. I dont think I notice any real difference, I just like knowing that I have the 93 o...

What paint did you use and what steps did you take? The grill comes apart in basically 3 pieces. The logo, the chrome frame, and the black mesh. There are about 6 screws on the backside that hold the chrome and mesh together, along with a bunch of snap together clips. After removing the screws, I c...

Custom grill... well, kinda. Pics!

I havent found a custom grill for my P-finder that I like yet. I actually like the style of the stock one BUT I didnt like all the chrome. the Armada and Xterra have painted grills that match the exterior color. So, after an EBAY purchase of a used grill, alot of sanding and painting, here are the r...

brick, Interesting point. I have never thought about frame flex. This being the first vehicle that I have ever drag raced, I dont think I would even know if it did. :o Here is something I have thought about, since you mentioned it... Is frame twisting any concern on a stock, 15+ second, vehicle that...

I've been searching around for KYB's (with no luck).
Yep, no luck here either. I contacted KYB a couple of weeks ago and they havent made them for the R51 yet. They are, "looking into it".

Sure enuff drag races were rained out yesterday. :x Its only because me and a buddy of mine have both done some mods since our last trip down the 1/4 in Dec. I will try to go tomorrow, weather permitting. If not, we are planning on going Feb 6th. Again, I will post results here as soon as I get 'em.

Thanks for the definition.

I think most of my purchases could be concidered "retail therapy" Even when I bought my Pfinder.

Maybe the real therapy for me is when I go to the drag strip... Yeah!

I can think of better ways of getting retail therapy.
What is "retail therapy"? Honestly, what do you mean by it?

I've been wondering if these Nismo 'size: 18"8.5" O' rims would work on a PF Maybe it has something to do with the listing saying "non-VDC? Just a guess... Dont all Pfinders have VDC? Is VDC optional on Xterra and Frontier? How would VDC make any difference on fitting anyway? Those a...

What oil are you using? Are you using synthetic? I always heard that synthetic was mandatory in really cold climates.

I couldnt imagine what -20C is like, especially being in Texas most of my life.

I put the K&N kit in friday night. It took me a little over an hour, with help from a mechanic friend of mine. That included removal of the OEM stuff. Installation was easy. The instructions were pretty clear and complete. No real problems. Here are some pics. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c...
