2010 Pathy

I have 2010 SE as well and it is non cinching. I looked at 2008/09/10 service manuals and only 2008 lists cinching liftgate mechanism. Looks like it may have just been a 2008 option.? My owners manual however says to close slowly and it will pull in. I think this is typo left in from prev yrs.?

Manual says 2010 pathfinder has auto closing liftgate, but mine does not do this...I gently lower liftgate to bottom but it does not automatically pull liftgate in to close as manual states...anyone know if this feature is not available or do I have a faulty unit?
