So where are our options for a wider stance / more articulation in the rear. I'm worried that straight aftermarket parts would cost enough that I might as well look into an SAS swap. And at that point, I might as well start looking at another rig for the cost cause I'll want to swap the front too. D...

Wait, so the rear control arms are the same width for the Armada and Pathfinder? I thought the Armada had a wider stance overall with the same suspension geometry Here's the thing I don't know if I can do though. Would I be able to bolt on the longer Armada half axles to the V6 did, or would I have ...

What about brakes? Would the rotors I have now fit on the Titan / Armada spindles? I'm not sure I want to invest that deep into it, but I'm not sold on just lifting a straight 7 inches on stock width. I might look for a more aggressive gearing seeing as how I want to swap the rear for Armada UCA's a...

Armada Swap on V6 Pathfinder?

I've been running some Maxxis Bighorn tires here lately and been spending more time on the trails and the lack of clearance for the deeper runs has been killing me. I'm looking to bump to ~34 or 35 Bighorns and lifting a bit higher for cleanrance and excursion. I'm debating between dropping the susp...

Hm, my service manual recommends 5w-30 to 10w-40. I run the latter right now. It passes the anicdotal "my engine just runs smoother " test for what that's worth to you. I've been using that for quite sometime now. I would especially recommend it if you're in an area where a heat index over...

Nice, I just got my OME springs in on Monday. I was planning on doing the entire job yesterday, but between not having a torque wrench (and not wanting to pay the extra 30 dollars for one in store) and some family stuff, it'll be waiting until either the weekend or next week..... How does the on roa...

Doesn't surprise me. It seems like the R51 platform is put through its paces a little more in Europe and elsewhere. They even have a lovely diesel engine available to them. Most online videos I find are either in Europe, Russia, or South America it feels like.

So, I'm going to assume by your vernacular that you are either from Australia or from UK/ Western EU. Some of the parts I'm going to mention are from local US dealers or AUS dealers. Keep that in mind for shipping prices. To me, the best compromise is to do an actual suspension lift. The easiest way...

Well, what you're linking to is not for a Nissan Pathfinder, so neither. The Navara is another production of the Frontier, fyi. Those rear spacers and shackles are for a solid axle vehicle like the Xtera or Frontier. The Pathfinder has an independent suspension system. As far as the "best" ...

When I was talking to Rancho a while back I asked about whether I could use online sources or not. They said you can use any dealer accept auction sites. Amazon had a real nice price on a full set (160 cheaper than anywhere else I could find and with free shipping too) so I made sure to double check...

I ended going with the OME Mediums. There are some high end off road and suspension shops in my area that can drill new offset camber bolt holes to realign everything if need be. I bought and already received my Rancho quicklifts and RS9000XL's. Now I'm just waiting on the rear springs on the slow b...

Out of curiosity, how much did your superchip set you back by the time you were done and how much of a boost did you see?

Ok, so I got tired of waiting for Rancho to email me back and finally called them. I found out that the spring rate on the quicklift loaded struts is the same as factory. Do you guys think it would be worth it to get the standard quicklift and swap out for ome mediums up front and run ome all around...

It may be that the engine is picking up on the emissions from the holes. I had a similar issue with mine when I go it. Out of curiosity, do you know why the holes were drilled? Edit: From my understanding, the SES light flashing indicates a problem with random misfiring which could damage the cataly...

I would not hold the key down and run the starter like that. That's a good way to burn out a starter. Modern cars are very efficient, relatively, and don't really need it. If you've narrowed it down far enough to have consistent, purposely repeatable results then I would look up the data and any iss...
