Yeah, they are probably the best tires I've had. Excellent in wet weather and awesome in snow. But damn they are expensive. I just replaced them with a set of Falken S/TZ04...quieter but not as great as the Slient Armor.

Try to press the volume knob at an angle (like on the side) while turning it up. Mine is stuck like that and it's either really loud or really soft...

I bet you that the code return will have to do with O2 sensors. Most of Pathfinder R50 has this code once or twice in their life time. I had one, replaced one, now it came back intermittently.

Some old pics of my '99 lifted with Silent Armor tires

These are about 3 yrs old The truck is back to stock now as I removed the lift and put back the stock springs. I'm sure I'll miss the look of it. :( The Wrangler Silent Armor were great tires when new and worked awesome in snow, rain. But as they wore out, they became loud at freeway speed. I just r...

You can go to tirerack.com or some other site and see how big is your current tire's diameter is. You can then choose some other 16" tires that have the same diameter or a bit larger/smaller. Larger tires may rub at full lock and smaller tires have shorter rolling distant and could cause the od...

KYB Excel-G and GR2

This may have been beaten to death but I just received a pair of these for my 99 and one is silver (GR-2) and one is black (Excel-G) :D I had the silver in my truck before when I had the lift and they were stiffer than stock. I removed them and put stock ones back and now need to replace the stock o...

I have WARN hubs on my truck and you can always engage the hub and drive straight for a few hundred yards to lub the front. Do this once a month or once every couple months is good if you don't engage 4x4 much.

This may be too late... After running AT tires all of my Pathfinder's life, I just switched to the Falken S/TZ04 tires in 31" and am happy with it so far. The previous tires were GoodYear Silent Armor and while they were great the noise were loud when they 1/2 worn. The Falken are more street o...

K&N CAI for 96-99 Pathfinder - local pick up in SF Bay A

I removed this from my truck a while ago and now just use the regular filter.

A bit dirty and need a good clean and oil as it's been sitting for a couple of years.

$30 pick up in San Jose.
