This will be my third belt for a vehicle with 70K miles on the ODO. I'll update with what I find. Use the OEM belt from Nissan. Thats the one that lasted t...

So the pathi went away and we are now rocking a Rouge. The loss in size is huge, but the gain in MPG easily makes ...

I was in an F-14 squadron so tool accountability is huge. I think the term Epic Fail fits this quite well.

IPDM recall complete. Relay replaced.

About 2 weeks ago my wife called me from work saying the truck won't start. I show up and look at a few things and when I go to start it she fires right up. Yesterday my wife is driving home on the tollway and in a 45 min drive the truck shut off on her 5 times. Now I have a tad bit of history on th...

As far as checking the drive belt tensioner, unless i missed something in the service manual, i could not find any procedure for checking it, only guidelines for checking the condition of the belt. FYI Reference: NTB06-072a DRIVE BELT NOISE APPLIED VEHICLES: 2005 -2007 Xterra (N50) 2005 - 2007 Path...

Best thing to do with the 05+ Pathfinder that DON'T have this problem is to carefully cut the strap and plastic/rubber covering. Clean off all the crap and wrap it up again and apply silicone to the open areas that trap dirt and sand.
Yes, I would recommend doing this instantly.

I'll take some pics of the piping and rubber hoses later. I ended up cutting out the bad section and putting in some new pipe with compression fittings. It took quite a few trips to find the right fittings and piping 5/8's. So far it is holding up. Probably put 500 miles on it and no leaks.

It is the water line, but they are a part of the AC lines so that's what I was calling It. The parts gut did say you would have to separate the body and frame to replace it. I was thinking of a way to patch the hole, but I like the cut an replace method better.
