i dont but i prolly should. i just leave the lid half-open when its in use. you choose a cb yet? maybe get an all-in-handset style one. then you only have a small connector box to hide instead of a big unit like mine. something like this: http://www.cobra.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&...

dunno what an 01 pathy interior looks like, but my gigantic cb is mounted in the center armrest/console of my 06 frontier:

newer cbs are considerably smaller, and thus easier to mount/hide.

my frontier had a small piece of clearbra applied in that area from the factory. it has helped, but removing it and having a larger patch applied would have helped a lot more.

Looking good here, but I expect that if I hadn't put clearbra on the front end, my bumper would be all chewed up by now. I've got quite a few rock chips on the leading edge of my rear fender that require touch-up, but its not chipping/cracking in those areas.
