Is it the seal or entire cooler ?

So I had my path in the shop for a little while. I went on vacation, used the other car for a while, basically have not used my path for a little bit. I had a leak that we all had diagnosed as an oil cooler seal. And with all going on I hadn’t done anything about it.. I had it at the dealer for an...

Take Dual Temp off !

Does anyone know how to take the dual temp control off ? I ride alone and get annoyed by the temperature controls as it is, much less having to change both to get the same temperature. I googled but saw nothing.

Underworld, I saw your original post saying that you did get a small lift from the MOOG rear springs. Did you ever determine if that was actually a lift or if it was due to your old springs sagging?

By articulation do you mean being able to ‘rock crawl’ ? If that is what you mean I don’t do anything crazy off road trails like that or mud bogging or whatever.. so If thats what you mean then it seems like bags would be better on the installation side. Do either ride any harder on regular hi...

Thanks, is there a better option between the two? I don’t mean to sound cheap but I’d rather do one of the two rather than go crazy with every possibilty. I measured my height and it seems level so I don’t think I have any sag but any help would be good to keep it that way. I know it may be ha...

What is more important

I am changing out my shocks soon with Bilstein HDs.. but recently realized that I do a lot of back country trail driving and use a lot of logging roads. These roads gets destroyed by 18wheelers and are full of ruts and potholes. My question is.. are shocks enough? By that I mean, if I were to replac...

Bug defelctor pictures ?

Does anyone have a preference on a front bug deflector ? I see stock pictures but never one on an r51. If you have a picture i would appreciate it. I want the smallest profile i can while still being effective; i have a ton of little chips on the hood that i want to minimize.

Let me try to broaden this up a little....
Does anyone use wheel spacers , not adapters, without having to use longer studs or do any modifications ?

Well that makes this a little tougher decision. I was hoping i could just buy the strut and replace it myself and get out the cheapest route but no matter what I am going to have to pay someone to install this anyway.. so based on RockAuto current prices, i have three options: 1. Bilstein front stru...

Anyone run this setup?

I have 265/70/17 tires on stock height and want to run 6mm (1/4") all around. Has anyone ever done this before ? Anyone have a picture of something similar ? I know its not a lot, but for $40 for all four, why not ? I was going to get the spacers, not adapters, just to take a little bit of the ...

OK that's good to hear, I did a quick search and all I got was the complete coil and spring together. I just looked again on RockAuto and did find other options, thanks i thought i was missing something. I don't want to deal with compressing the springs and so id like the option that involves not to...

front struts

Can i buy just the strut itself or do i have to buy the entire coilover piece as one ? I found struts online for just the strut part without the coil, but i had always thought it was a one piece option.

*edit* I am not looking for a lift, just standard height.

Small dent repair

Can anyone help me with how to get under the hood to repair this dent ? I have seen some videos of going underneath the hood and using a tool to pop out the dent. This is a nickel size ding, not even a real dent, so i am sure i could pop it back with my finger.. Local shop wanted $100! but i cant se...
