It's pretty straight forward, but the top bolt can be a real stubborn bitch. . 2nd'ed. take off tires, undo lower bolts, and then try to get to the top bolts. air tools are HIGHLY recommended, so if you have a buddy you can visit or something do that. for the passenger side top bolt make sure your ...

I would not suggest the BFG ATs, as they really suck in the rain & suck overall once the tread is worn down a bit. I'm not considering the BFGs...I know they are a well regarded tire but my brother had them on his Xterra for 3 years and they got downright scary in rain/slush. i can appreciate comme...

Re: Overdrive= better fuel economy?

My experience is the exact opposite. OH raised the limit to 70 a year or so ago. I used to run 75-80 and now run 80-85 and have lost about 1mpg on long trips. Best economy is around 45mph in OD. My typical commute is 50 miles of 55mph road, with lost of hills. I usually run 65-70 and average about ...

forgot about this thread. i'm at ~87k now and the other day i started getting some of those "bumps" again when i'd manually go from 3rd to 2nd. checked the fluid and i was about 1/2 a qt low. after driving and making sure the tranny was warmed up, my dipstick was in the middle of the cold marking, a...
