If you don't like the ride now...adding spacers will not solve your problem. It'll firm it up even more. I have noticed the Radflos in the rear seem to be better at smoothing out the bumps over the spacer/stock shock combo I have in the front. But I don't mind either way since I expect a truck to ri...

OK so after poking around some more I found this on the ARB site:

http://www.arb.com.au/media/products/ai ... _chart.pdf

Looks like the V6 crowd has the lower 3.3 front diff ratio and would use the RD181. The RD137, according to the chart, is for the rear.

Yes I would just go ahead and order those struts. If the threads don't match, just use the 19/64 bit size and drill it out nice and straight. I twisted each end on, then took them off, applied the JB Weld and refastened them on. (Make sure both ends face the same direction) Let it sit for at least 1...

I've got the Volo VP12 Performance Chip and I saw an increase in power and gas mileage.

At least enough to justify the cost and not send it back! :o

UPDATE:
I drilled out the old plastic ends that hold the struts on with a 19/64 drill bit.
That was enough to thread on the McMaster-Carr struts.
I added a good bit of JB Weld to the ends and that should hold just fine.

I'll hopefully never have to worry about the rear hatch again!! :D

ARB Air-Lockers

So I'd like to get on record which ARB Air-Lockers some of the board members are using and input as to what will fit the USA R51 platform. From what I can tell they make 2 that are for the front: RD180 (27 spline 3.69 & up) RD181 (27 spline 3.54 & down) I'm assuming one would fit the V6 and ...

Yes they fit on the stock LE rims.

@Doc - mine says 32.6 x 11.1 (sect width not tread width).
So yours would actually be 32.7 x 11.5! 8)
BIGGER IS BETTER!

The colder weather makes them stop working completely! And just to clarify - it doesn't matter what number Nissan has for the struts, they are all identical. I actually drove to Courtesy last year and we went through them all. Long story short, I'm going to have to re-thread the plastic ends (which ...

LOL actually not a bad idea except for the brackets that hold the bumbers on. If i could see all the parts it came with, we could fab something up! BTW I think Lowes sells grade 8 bolts of all sizes!

Those look like they only raise it 1", so you'll have no trouble with the alignment. I used 2"PRG spacers and was fine up front. The rear was always a little towed in, so I opted to get the 2" springs instead and it fixed the problem. I like that front bar as well, but it says it only...

You may have to have special brackets made for your supersliders as they will stay in their original position - 3" lower.
