So, Pulstar only lists spark plugs for the Frontier and the Xtera. I'm assuming there's no difference between their VQ40DE block and ours?

Unless they put too much oil in, I doubt the filter or oil weight is going to make that kind of an impact. Let your engine cool and check the oil level. If it's too high, drain a little of the oil out of the bottom. Maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a qt.

You know what, you're right, it's not for the R51. I never looked closely at the details, it only fits the old WD and hardbody platforms.

10w-30 will run fine in your engine and is even listed in the service manual as fine. Personally, my preference is 10w-40 during the hot months here in Florida. I've never had my engine run so smoothly. Anyways, I've been slowly fixing up all the small problems on my Pathfinder and decided to tackle...

Anybody have any thoughts about the pros and cons of either setup? Or any info on the different spring rates between the OME medium, 4x4 Medium, and the rancho quick lift springs?

Did you have any problem getting things back into alignment with the longer springs?

Spacer vs Springs

Alright gents, it's been a while, but I think things are about do for an upgrade. Here's the deal, I'm going for a solid two inches of even lift front and back with a firm, not harsh ride. I'm a fairly aggressive on road driver and would like to smooth out the tight corners a bit and still have dece...

The only thing that I'm worried about is that I have been reading a fair amount of reviews that have been saying that those rear shocks are failing after about 6 months of use. And most of these reviews are for just regular street driving.

I would love to go radlfo all the way around to be honest. But, I am on a budget :/ . I might be able to swing the Radflo rears if I save up for a bit. Do you know the excursion difference between the Bilsteins and the Radflos? Another quick question, how is the ride and handling on your Pathfinder ...

Rancho rear struts vs Bilstein HD's

Hey guys, I'm looking at doing some suspension upgrades to my 05 Pathfinder. I'm leaning heavily towards the Rancho Quicklift Loaded struts for the front suspension, but I'm torn on the rear struts. I want to keep things rake free so the rear will have to lift as much as the front. I've heard so so ...

I mean, I suppose I could. Unlike the earlier posts I was referring to the door lock, not the gate motor. I would imagine that it would be like all the other door locks in form and function. I was just curious if this was a common problem and if anybody knew of a relatively painless solution. This t...

Just to keep on this thread with door problems, the electronic lock for my rear hatch just stopped working about two days ago. If I want to open the rear hatch I have to crawl through and use the manual override. Anybody have any thoughts on how to start fixing it?

Pretty much what everybody here has already said. They really do improve the handling of the vehicle on road. I run mine right at 28psi and I have really cut down on body roll and generally smoothed the ride out. A good friend of mine described my Pathfinder as being very stoic when turning and he i...

Hey skinny, do you have a write up for your driving lights that you have wired in with the high beams? I've been looking to do add both driving lights to run with highs and fog lights to run with lows. This thread has got me covered with a good idea for wiring up the lows. All I need now is a write ...
