Anyone else having a bit of squeak on the front OME suspension? I only hear it when hitting good bumps, but it is becoming a bit annoying. Yeah - I have noticed a noise in the front suspension when going over large bumps... not really a squeak, more of a not-good metal scraping noise. Also discover...

OME Suspension Lift

I finally got my OME suspension installed last Friday! Overall, I like it alot. I think the ride is better, and I really like the way it looks. Got pretty much exactly 2" lift on all 4 corners. The VDC did kick in one time when I was going around a fairly tight cloverleaf entrance ramp about 35...

Bender is correct. This sound is the ABS test that occurs at 12.5 mph each time after the vehicle is started. I have a 2005 SE - I thought it sounded like a transmission clunk, so I took it to the dealer. They test drove it with me, heard the noise and told me what it was. He backup-up this claim wi...

Bought my 05 new. Now have 46k miles, and I love it! Power, ride, looks, reasonable off-road capability. Only thing is I want more ground clearance.... have orded the OME suspension.

Yes, I have that rattle... but like someone else posted, mine only seems to happen when it is cold and the vechicle is warming up.

One more thing on the OME. I've noticed most everyone is getting quite a bit more lift in the back than the front... has anyone done anything to try and level the truck? raise the front an additional inch somehow??

I ordered the OME suspension today! I'll let everyone know how it goes. I also think I will get the RockyRoad supersliders. USMC - what did you replace your running boards with?

Thanks

I hate the mudflaps - mostly because they are so rigid. I tore one of the back ones off when driving over a stump - so took the other off later. Dont know about fuel economy.

I switched to Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors. Had them about 5k miles now and they are great on the road - wet or dry conditions. The are fine for mild off-roading, but don't do well in mud (nearly got stuck). One good thing is they come with a 50k mileage warranty. Price was $164/tire - but afer a...

PD, what Bostons did you go with? . Went with S-Series. S95 6x9's in the front and S65 6.5's in the back. Actually left the factory tweeters in place. They also added sound-deading material in the doors. I didnt get an amp because I was at my $ limit. Sounds pretty good, but would like to add an am...
