I can't see why seals whould not be included in the warranty. It should cover parts and labor. The only excuse they might offer is that it's normal to see some "wet spots" so long as it does not drip.

Unlock all doors at once

I was playing with the settings menu today and noticed there is an option to have all of the doors unlock with the first press of the remote button rather than having to press it twice. This option may only be available on 2008+ since it uses the display screen. It's under the Comfort & Convieni...

Congrats! Post up some pics when you can so we can see the color combo etc. I don't think any of us get tired of seeing pics even though we know what the truck looks like.

C-Rx is OK. Sounds like there is something wrong with the connection. You'll know when the sub is on. It has decent kick for a stock system. To bad your service dept. doesn't know to use the diagnostic menu. It looks pretty useful. How did you find it? The manual of all places? :) I don't have the D...

I can check it. Can you tell me how to get to that diagnostic display? I'm not familiar with it.

Re: New owner/noob with lots of questions

Is there a Nissan part I can buy to have 1 touch down for ALL the windows? I'm pretty sure you would have to replace the window motor regulator to add this feature in addition to replacing the door switch. Since Nissan doesn't offer the one touch feature for the rear windows on any Pathfinder trim ...

Please forgive my ignorance, but I don't understand exactly what this is for. Some people mentioned a platform, but why wouldn't you just put that on the rear hitch?

Thanks for the info! I thought it might be normal since the behavior was consistent, but I wanted to make sure. Glad to know what it is.

all- sounds like you are all describing the abs self-test. it does it each time you start your car and reach a certain speed (10-15 mph) if that is in fact what you are hearing it is 100% normal. Does it sound like a quick abs noise? It sounds like a high pitched metal "ting." It's somewh...

Re: Metal "Cling" Noise

Is it only when going from P to D, only when you hit roughly 15mph or both? Your details are a little confusing to me. Sounds like this is normal from what other are saying, but here are the details anyway. Once I put the vehicle in D, it will only happen once when I reach 15 MPH. When I come to a ...

Thanks! We're not quite as far from civilization as it might look. There is no house across from us and then it opens up to one of the holes on the golf course so it make for a nice view of the mountains. It's one of the reasons we choose the lot. As far other vehicles. The list was pretty short. We...

Cool. Looks like we have pretty much the same vehicle. We went with the V6 4x2 as well. The fact that the noise is only heard once and the behavior is consistent, I wouldn't be surprised if it is part of normal operation. I just want to be sure. Looking at you sig, what screen do you have the hardri...

Metal "Cling" Noise

Hi Everyone, This is my first post on this forum besides the post I made in the new member introduction section. Just purchased a 2008 SE. :D Here are a few pics I posted in the other thread. http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll293/hanlrb/Pathfinder001.jpg http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll293/h...

New member, new owner

Hi Everyone, My wife and I recently purchased a 2008 Pathfinder SE with the premium and side airbag package. So far we really enjoy it. We replaced a 1998 Honda Civic. We decided on the Pathfinder because of it's third row of seating and towing capacity. This looks like a great forum and I look forw...
