Sorry I couldn't help you out on the HID's Blink, the dealers I approached were all either unable/unwilling to help, or said it "couldn't be done", "wouldn't work", etc, etc.
Apathy rules, apparently... :?

Certainly wish those weathertech rear mats were available over here too, the standard rubber Nissan one's are useless, two small seperate mats with no protection for the middle section of the carpet at all. :x

GB This was a common problem with my Defender after being used with the centre diff locked, 'transmission wind up' seems to be the name for it over here. The way to cure it was to reverse in a straight line for 50yds or so to relieve the built up tension in the transmission. It seemed to do the tric...

What type of tyre's are you running at the moment ? I still have the 'factory fit' Goodyear Wranglers for now, though I would like to change them at some stage. Tyre choice over here is very limited at the moment for the 255/65x17 size.

The tech. spec. is quoting a GVW of 2880kg and a kerb weight of 2275kg (5015lb), so I'm presuming the later figure is the one, so it's 100kg, which to be honest is less of a difference than I initially thought.

I don't think there have been any drive-line change's, just a few cosmetic one's. Such as the side repeaters are now on the wing mirror's, puddle lamp's, courtesy light's in the footwell's and different style wheel's. The other thing I heard was that the carpet was thicker for better sound proofing,...

All right, tone it down some. No need to rub in the fact that you can hop a ferry to Scandinavia Guilty as charged  On the flip side though, you're talking about heading up to Death Valley for a trail meet soon, I'd chew my own arm off for a chance to do that !! You're right as well GB,...

You'll certainly have plenty of room in the rear for your camping gear and dogs, I've just looked at the picture you posted, it's huge without the seats in !!
That must make quite a difference to the overall weight of the car having no seats at all in the rear.

Sveintore

Looking at those pictures it certainly looks stunning.
Hopefully sometime in the future I'd like to drive up to Nordkapp, I've been looking to do it for a while now. I'd planned on getting the ferry to Bergen then taking the long drive up there.
Maybe one day...

Ditto that regarding the 285's and OME, really gives it a mean looking stance.

Completely agree Kyson, a real versatile vehicle. I originally looked at a Discovery (LR3) but they were way too expensive and they come with the usual LR build quality problems. 10 years of previous LR ownership had well and truely ground me down, the car's (I had 4 in total over 10 yrs) must have ...

Oh come on, real men know that the true test of mettle involves going up and down 1 hill over and over and over. An entire vehicle's 4x4 worth can be gleaned from this diabolical torture test. I agree NV, obviously the car is completely rubbish ! Seriously though, it was hardly what you coul...

GB If you click this link you'll see that my previous two trucks had ground clearance to spare ! http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=250 They were pretty amazing off road, though somewhat lacking in the comfort department. It's just a shame they were so badly put together, I must admit that...
