I've thought about taking off the side steps, but on balance, I don't use it often enough or in 'extreme' enough condition's off road to justify it. Also SWMBO didn't like the idea of no side steps. Ideally I'd like to swop the rim's for 16"s and get some taller tyre's to give me a better break...

I have a diesel :)

It's nice and 'grunty' with low down torque where you need it off road.

Not Pathfinder fans then...

Has anyone else seen this ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFEqGUIKoNo They don't seem to be overly impressed with the R51. He does say that his car is NOT fitted with traction control though, seems strange as it looks like a 'high spec' model with leather seats etc. And to be fair the stock aren't ...

I keep a tow strap, a couple of shackles and a pair of work gloves in the 'smugglers box', hopefully stuff I don't need on a regular basis ! I agree, it would be more useful if it were slighty bigger. As for the second glovebox, I've got a slim fire extinguisher and tissues in there, no room for any...

Thanks The headlamp washers operate on every 10th operation ( I think ) of the screen washers, apparently it's a regulation, in europe at least, that vehicle's fitted with HID lamp's have washer jets fitted, and yes there're operated from the column stalk. I've not come across any Euro specific manu...

The English Lake District

Here's a couple of shot's of my truck taken on a recent family trip to the Lake District. If you're ever over here and get the chance, I'd recommend you try to visit this place, there are some great (if sometimes very narrow) roads to drive. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t293/Modchop/IMG_1223co...

Ahh... British TV at it's finest ! Do you guy's get 'Top Gear' on BBC America ? I love this programme, it just like's to give the finger to the 'establishment', sooo funny. The current series has recently finished over here so, Sunday night viewing isn't what it used to be. I think the new series st...

Paul

It's amazing isn't it ? I've been looking for something like your FPS for ages for my Pathfinder without success. Then I go and find that what I'm looking for is made 4 miles up the road from where I live !
I may be in touch...

Cheers.

Thanks, the photo's were taken in the Lake District in and around the National Park. I'm certainly envious of the snow in your picture, we never get snow like that here anymore. Are you from the UK originally or have you been over here recently ? A lot of the tracks in the National Parks have recent...

Thought I'd post these pictures of the load cover here in the UK. It's a two part, folding cover that locates to the side trim in the rear with rubberized lugs on the load cover. Don't know if it's the same shape as you guys would require though, hope this helps on your 'quest'. http://i163.photobuc...

Wow, we beat you to the camera as well. Going back to cargo covers, they seem to appear quite regular on eBay over here for not very much money, don't know what shipping costs to the USA would be like. The thing I'd really like are the underside protection plates for the fuel tank and sump but you c...

Makes a change for us to get something before you guys !! Can't believe you don't get a cargo cover, that seems really mean. I must say though that your Bose stereo system puts ours to shame, no sub woofer or anything over here, just a six speaker Nissan system. Do you get the rear view camera...
