I know it obviously wont work to put the fire out on a fully engulfed car. Im just saying it beats nothing. When seconds count, you may be able to hold the fire off someone til they can get free. Regardless it beats having nothing and being unprepared. I would hope if Im ever in the situation, someo...

Fire Extinguisher?

So being employed in public safety, it hit me the other day how many lives have been lost or affected by a vehicle that wrecks and catches fire. I finally went and bought a fire extinguisher tonight that I plan to mount in the cargo area of my Pathfinder. Just curious how many people do this? I just...

You bought a previous rental? Whew you got more gumption than I got lol. I just know how I drive a rental, so I would never buy one.

Dont know what color you have but mine is black and I peeled the pin stripe off a few months ago. I think it looks much better and cleaner.

Re: Hard 3rd gear shifting

Ok, so I had my rebuilt transmission put in a few weeks ago. If I am light on the throttle, it shifts into 3rd gear with a pretty hard hit. However, if I am heavier on the throttle (and when still cold), its shifts smoother into 3rd but seems like it has a slight hesitation to shift. Its not slippi...

My stock battery died on me 3 weeks ago at the Home Depot parking lot...and I found that out after I bought lumber and loaded it into the PF. Luckily, a Firefighter stopped by and gave me a boost. I headed off to the parts store. I didn't realize that our PF had reverse polarity posts until the par...

I took mine to Advance Auto last week and had it tested. Said it had 450 CCA and was a little low on voltage. The guy told me there was no need to worry....so I didnt. 3 days later it died. I got a 850 CCA battery from walmart....cant remember the brand name they carry. Just didnt have much of a cho...

Tis the season for dead batteries

Just a heads up with anyone that still has the Nissan stock battery.....they only last about 3 years. So with the cold weather coming, go get it checked. Mine died tonight in the walmart parking lot (thank goodness it was somewhere that sells batteries). I had a 2006 Frontier that the battery died i...

Ok it seems like my new trans has an added gear or something. It shifts at like 20 mph and then again before hitting 25 mph. Is this something that needs to be adjusted with a scan tool or something? is the repair shop aware of your concerns? Not yet, Im gonna give it a while and see if things chan...

but if it were the fuel filter, wouldnt the engine itself be losing power? It sounded like he described it as "losing pull". Maybe I read it wrong
