Yeah, I'm not sure what has happened. There used to be more interest in this.

265/70-17 is about as large as you can go on stock rims and stock ride height. With a 2" lift, you can go up to 285/75-17. A wider stance is generally better, especially after adding a lift. I think it also helps minimize rubbing when going up to 285's. I have been running Toyo Open Country A/T...

We were about 50 miles east of McAlester near a small town called McCurtain. It is in the eastern part of the state.

That's a lot of vehicles, but I imagine there is a vast area to roam. The place I'm talking about is not that big.

Very cool pics. Looks like a good time. I would love to be able to get out in some sand dunes like that. There is a place in Western Oklahoma called Little Sahara and they allow vehicles on their dunes. Some friends of mine used to take their quads out there all the time. They said it is very crowde...

Re: Fab some shackle mounts to replace the factory tow hook.

Fab some shackle mounts to replace the factory tow hook for a more secure recovery strap pulling point. All I needed was some steel angle, weld on 3/4" shackle mounts, 3/4" shackles, portable band saw, welder, and some paint. Now if the need for recovery arises then I have a better option...

Same here, I like it. That's kinda what I had in mind when I started making mine, but I had trouble bending the metal I had bought. Good job.

Re: Need Bilstein Part#'s

Need help with correct Bilstein Part #'s for front and rear 5100 adj. shocks on a 2007 4wd SE. I did many searches prior to resorting to a new thread but could not find anything for a 4WD. Many have posted the BE5-E653-HO as the correct # for the front but my local shop told me that they are only f...

Short Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsrunYV8m6Q Very nice. That looked like a lot of fun. I missed the Kimber in the pic the first time around. Those are sweet guns and probably one of the best 1911 variants that I've shot. I've got a Caspian Commander that I love to shoot. On another note, ...

That looks like a real good time. Nothing to challenging just fun. We did do some challenging stuff but I did not get any video of it. One hill climb, my friend in the Grand Cherokee had a difficult time getting up the first few tries. We had to move some large rocks around to be able to get up it....
