on second viewing, I wonder if your transmission is messed up.

Does the vehicle move at all when wheels on the ground?

I wonder if the CV axle (part in video 1 making the racket) is broken. That wouldn't be too hard or expensive to fix. Under $500.

But without seeing it, hard to tell.

I disagree on that one.

When my rear abs harness failed the speedo and odometer would keep running, so it seemed to be running off of the rear.

I need to find my post from back then. It was about 2 years ago.

Check the wires going to the wheel sensors to see if there in any damage or open wire that could cause an intermittent short which confuses the ABS computer and then it shuts off. On my 05, I've changed the rear ABS harness (cost about $250) and that solved my issue. On my rogue, it was the front pa...

So on the thermostat and coolant change. I use a Superchips tuner, which shows a read out of Engine Coolant Temperature. The reason I decided to pull the trigger on my thermostat was I was seeing temps and variation more than I liked. That coupled with the fact that it had been about 6 years or so s...

Thanks SMJ, I did take a look, no oil down there, but the pressure line is soaked with PS fluid. Now that you said that, though, I wish I'd bought one as they go for like $15. We shall see what kind of shape its in.

Thermostat and coolant change

Hey all, So its been at least 6 years since my last thermostat change, and about 3 years on the coolant. I've noticed that my thermostat may be sticking a bit when under heavy load, and we are planning a big trip in April, so thought it'd be good to change out the thermostat. Bought a Nissan OEM par...

This happens in my 05, usually when the wife is trying to help the kids with something in the back, and is crawling around and all over the front seat. Enough conflicting signals from her seat sensor, and the airbags go into 'safe mode' and the light starts blinking. The only way to get rid of it is...

When my rear abs harness went bad on my 05, the speedo and odometer would continue to count up even when the vehicle was not moving. The speedo and odometer get their info from the wheel speed sensors.

Thanks your checking into this. I'm curious, which model of that cheap scanner specifically did you buy? For 13-15 bucks that's a steal, even if it provides a little more data than regular scan tool. Just tried the lite version and everything worked fine. My Pathfinder has alot of issues. I need a ...

Any option to put the bikes on the back of the trailer?

Yeah read that today. Someone mentioned in the comments that this is like a factory engine swap lol. Also read that the transmission is from the Titan. A comment was made too that since this is a new engine and things go south, then the failures will be associated with the old body style truck and ...
