on second viewing, I wonder if your transmission is messed up.

Does the vehicle move at all when wheels on the ground?

I wonder if the CV axle (part in video 1 making the racket) is broken. That wouldn't be too hard or expensive to fix. Under $500.

But without seeing it, hard to tell.

When my rear abs harness failed the speedo and odometer would keep running, so it seemed to be running off of the rear.

Thanks SMJ, I did take a look, no oil down there, but the pressure line is soaked with PS fluid. Now that you said that, though, I wish I'd bought one as they go for like $15. We shall see what kind of shape its in.
