I was wondering about the flaps too. I went and had a bit of off road fun last week and realized my flaps snapped out of the spot on the bumper...Thinking of maybe replacing them seeing as how I had so much fun lol.

I guess there's more to it than I thought. Forgot to take into account current draw especially with all this new integrated technology already pulling on the alternator. a 2200 cfm fan has a 18amp draw with the smaller cfm's utilizing a less incrementally. Didn't know about the the engaging belt fan...

97 F350 Power Stroke Diesel Crew Cab = 9800 lb

Almost 2 tons over would have definitely done that. There is probably an extra 500lb tolerance but jeez.
