That Subaru has an awkward gap between the hood and the bumper trim on both sides of the grille. Make sure it hasn't been in an accident.

I'd like to nominate and vote for NVSteve. He's a veteran member who was one of the first to modify his Pathfinder. His amazing photography has enriched our forum and he has contributed to this site with consistency and intelligence. Thank you NVSteve. Please post a pic for me...

A lot of my friends run these tires and say the same thing. I don't know if it's related to the tread compound or the tread design or what. I've heard that running slightly higher pressure in the winter can help your tires maintain better contact because they don't heat up and expand the same way th...

To mrfatboy: Yes. The R51 generation Pathfinder suffers from a condition known as saggy butt. These airbags prevent the rear springs from being overwhelmed by any (or zero) load over the rear axle. I've had my factory suspension bottom-out on highway swells when I wasn't even carrying anything in my...

Based on the Iron Bull bumper design, I don't understand why you would need to cut anything. It looks like a complete bumper replacement that tucks right up against the bottom of the grille. Frontiers and Pathfinders of the same year share the same bumper, grille, headlights, bumper mounts, front su...

DO IT!!! I thought about it a while back. I did enough research to know that it's pricey but mechanically straight forward. You'll get more wheel travel and better stability off road at higher speeds. Spring and shock tuning might be an issue once all the parts are fitted. I didn't so it for two rea...

I have 112,000 miles on my '06 SE. It's still running very well. It's been lifted recently so my CV Axles are starting to complain a bit. Since they haven't ever been replaced, I'm not surprised. I've also had minor U joint issues but they're cheap to replace. I push my PF hard and it has rewarded m...

I trashed my receipt but I'm almost certain they are part #9416K148 for the 200lb. units. I just installed mine and it looks like I got a bum one/two because my hatch now barely stays open at all.

I'll just get a couple more. They're cheap and easy to swap.

See my signature for my lift info. But to sum it up I have PRG stuff. PRG makes kits/components that can include new front Upper Control Arms. I have them. I like them. The new UCAs only provide more negative travel and only if combined with the correct extended front coil over. Talk to Greg @ PRG a...

IIRC there are four tabs along the bottom that are about 3/4" wide. You'll need to lift them to release the grille assembly. They can be a little finicky.

I murdered-out my grill by removing the black plastic and chrome plastic grill assembly, cleaning the hell out of it, and sanding the chrome portion with 400 grit sand paper. I used flat black Rustoleum spray paint to cover it with three coats. I didn't put any kind of clear-coat on it. It hasn't co...

For you guys with bouncy rides, Bilstein, Rancho and Monroe make shocks for stock height Pathfinders and all of them will reduce the amount of wallow and exaggeration in the stock suspension. I hear Bilstein is the best for on road ride and Monroes are pretty good on and off road. You can also opt t...

I looked into an Armada/Titan swap a while back. A lot of components will bolt right up to our subframes but the diffs and half-shafts also need to be swapped and the prop shafts will require custom spacers to mate with the Armada diffs. I won't even get started on the cost of fender flares. Let's j...
