Well, I twisted, pryed and put the truck in N to be able to get the center console piece out. Eventually got it out of the way enough to get the job done. I gotta ask though, how the heck do you get the centre trim over the shift knob? For life of me I couldn't figure it out.

Hello, looking for some advice on how to go about removing the dash pieces so I don't wreck any of the little snap clips that I am sure are holding the panels in place. Thanks and cheers! JC

Can someone describe briefly how to go about taking off the console trim pieces so I don;t wreck anything when I install my brake controller (I want to put it in the DIN slot). Thanks, JC

I don't think you NEED it but then you'd have to hack into the stock harness to install a brake controller. This way of you want to remove the brake controller, you simply unplug everything. Much cleaner.

I installed the 7-pin harness a few weeks ago along with the air bags and I just remembered that there was an extra connector on it that didn't seem to connect to anything else. Anyone know what that is? I have an 08 V8. Thanks, JC

Hey guys, thanks for the help. That worked like a charm. As for why I put it in 4LO, well, I never tried and I figured why not. Also, the ramps were the plastic kind and they were slipping a bit so I figure the front tires pulling would help keep the ramps in place. Anyway, dumb move. Lesson learned.

So I just installed the Air Lift kit and did an oil change. I put the truck in 4Lo to get on the ramps and now she will not come out of 4LO. WTF!! I put it in 2WD, 4WD, or Auto and the 4LO indicator still flashes and you can definitely tell it's still in 4LO. What do I do?

Where can you get the best oil filters in Canada for a V8 PF? I was going to Candian Tire but I am thinking they might have sunstandard filters there. Any thoughts?

Possibly, but the dang truck is only 5 months old. Seems like a bad window motor design to me.
