Shifting issue with 06

OK i have an 2006 Path with approximately 80,000 miles and the tranny is not shifting like it should. It will take for ever to shift up and seems like when its supposed to down shift it also take longer than normal. Does anyone know or has anyone experienced anything like this?

What about gas mileage? How does it compare with the stockers or a regular A/T tire?

I took it to the local dealer here they finally figured out the problem by talking to Nissan of America and they fixed the issue...... well temporarily anyway. Its now back doing it AGAIN. This would be the 10th time into the dealer to get this issue fix...

I paid 350.00 in Oct of 09 and have had it back 7 times to still be unresolved. I really hope i can get my money back.

Thank you to all who have called Nissan USA for this. If it wasnt for all of us calling or sending in E-mails after e-mails they wouldnt have gotten the message.

I had mine replaced in OCT 09 which i payed around 350 for. The problem still continues but now there is no SES light or codes for the dealer to read. The tank usually acts up when i take it below 20 miles on the DTE which then it just drops off to completely empty. Then like others say once i fill ...

try changing out both u-joints on the rear shaft. This happened to me and i replaced the front u-joint on the rear shaft then the rear u-joint went out soon after. So my recommendation would be to just replace both and the squeaking will go away!
