Coincidentally I was planning to go out to Death Valley while I'm in Vegas. I'll be there between the 21st and 28th of March.

I'm actually heading to Vegas at the end of March for a couple of weeks with the PF. If something were happening somewhere on the way at that time I'd be in. I know it's unlikely, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

I'm interested in the swing away tire mount, however it looks like it obscures the license plate. I suppose it could be the angle of the shot in addition to the fact that the PF in the photo doesn't have a license plate for perspective.

I'd have preferred that the PF had one large glove box than one small one and one tiny one. I also don't use the storage compartment underneath the second row seats. IMO it is in there in a way that makes it quite difficult to use. I'd have preferred some kind of storage compartment in the back by t...

I've been interested in Arctic Trucks' stuff since I saw the Top Gear Polar Special with the Arctic Trucks Hilux. I'd love to get 33s on my PF.

Yeah, it's a shame that the Dakar was cancelled this year. Having it in South America next year could be interesting.

If they want something smaller, bring the Xtrail to the states. Then small families that want the rugged look but better economy can have that. I like they Pathfinder the way it is. If they want better economy put the 3.5VQ in there with a supercharger to balance the power. I mean who doesn't like ...

They are shipping my Weathertech floor liners and Cargo liners this week. I can't wait to get rid of the carpet mats that came with the PF.

I've lived in both Calgary and Colorado Springs and IMO the climates are pretty similar. I can't say that I noticed too much of a difference. Of course latitude plays into it, but Denver is also about 2000' higher than Calgary. Of course, my definition of pretty similar might be different than some ...

I've heard that part of the problem with diesel vehicles in NA is the particular emissions standards here. I'm not sure that it's true, but I've heard it. It is a shame though as when I was growing up my dad had a diesel truck and he loved it. I almost bought a much older PF with the diesel engine b...

We had a couple of -35 mornings last week. I have the PF plugged in and in the garage but it still isn't happy about driving in these temperatures. I've only put about 500 km on the PF, but I'll be switching to synthetic at the next (early) oil change, probably in another 500 km.
