Another option is to fixing the cover is to get a mini USB charger adapter which will basically sit in the accessory port flush. It almost looks OEM/built-in. Consumer Reports just reviewed batteries in their last issue. For the Group 24 and 24F batteries, Walmart's Everstart Maxx was at the top of the list. This is the battery I got as my first replacement. It started going after a couple of years and I called to ask about the warranty. They said it was...

Intake Manifold Spacer

I just noticed that I posted a reply in an old thread under a topic other than "R51 Engine, Driveline and Powertrain" so I am re-posting here for better visibility. Here is the original thread: http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=729 And my post: Sitting at about 85K miles and thi...

NOTE: I reposted this inquiry in R51 Engine topic Sitting at about 85K miles and thinking about a spark plug change. As long as I am tearing into things, maybe it might be nice to install one of these? It would be great to get some new feedback from any of you with experience with an intake manifol...

Hey,

I did have that same problem some time ago and screws holding the lock mechanism had loosened. I had to pull off the plastic trim piece on the inside of the hatch to access it. After tightening them, all was good.

I would like to resurrect this thread, if I could. I am looking to order some type of lift in the new year and started looking seriously at the Rancho Quicklift front coil overs and the rear spacers. I have a few questions though. 1) How much lift did you end up with? 2) How easy was it to install?...

Yokohama, Cooper, Pirelli?

Well, the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2 tires are worn down and noisy so it's time to look around again. Got about 50K out of them. The Revos look badass and performed very well but they seemed to get noisy kinda fast and are also expensive. At this point I am focusing on these three (with Revos stil...

Re: hp

Can anyone tell me if a K&N intake will give me more hp or better mpg. I have a 2010 pathfinder se v6 I did both a cold air intake and an exhaust modification (to remove the "Y" restriction) about the same time and while I have not done a dyno, I would suggest there is definitely a no...

You know what Nissan, Fack YOU. I had faith you would not wreck this. Thanks for taking a name such as "Pathfinder" which implies it's an off road worthy vehicle and turning it into a Nissan Sante fe POS Daredevil said it well. Nissan hit a grand slam in 2005 and the next gen leaves me sp...

Three Blink Turn Signal

A feature on a lot of new cars is that when you push down or up on the turn signal stalk it automatically blinks/flashes three times or so and then stops. This is most useful when indicating a lane change. I really like this capability (work requires travel and I rent many cars) and am wondering if ...
