Temp Control System

Took the 2012 PF in for service two weeks ago for the Cabin Air Temp Control system. The service dept. work on the PF for the entire day without being able to fix the problem. The service dept. did confirm that the Heat/Cooling Cabin Air control system was not working the way it should but they coul...

Revived the cards in the mail, keeping them in my PF and will hand them out to other PF owners.

Thanks,

Sorry to hear about our spare tire being stolen. Think I'll look into that spare tire lock form Nissan even though my car is kept in the garage most of the time.

You can't trust dealerships, took a 2004 Ford Explorer in for a recall notice to the transmission. Told them to go ahead and do a transmission service at the same time. When I picked up the car it didn't seem right, the service rep said every thing was just fine. Turns out, after driving 40 miles, t...

If the batteries are over three years old then I would suggest putting in new batteries. It takes more battery power to put out a continuous signal, starting the car, than it does to just send a pulse that will open the doors.

I don't plan on modifying my PF for off road driving, only reason we bought the PF was to tow a 2800lbs collapsible (under 4' tall) trailer. Though 95% of our driving will be just city and hwy trips about 24K miles a year. So gas MPG at todays prices is something I would like to save on as much as p...

I'll take the dry heat over heat and humidity any day. As you can tell by my handle "Calicajun" I have live in both climates. So for me if July was the only month (usually company shut time) I had to go and see that area, I would be loading up the PF and heading out with camera gear ...

Just a thought, but try having a separate thermometer in the car next time you're out and about. The auto A/C will try to keep the interior temp at whatever you've set it too, and maybe the interior temp has reached the desired figure thus making the A/C blow hot and cold in order to maintain that ...

Good to hear the dealer fix your PF. One of the cars we test drove before buying our 2012 PF had a strong shimmy in the steering wheel. The dealer said it was the road causing the problem. So I asked them if they were going to fix all the roads so the problem would go away. They didn't answer that q...
